Workshops will normally be held at Summerhill Bowling Club from 7pm. Sometimes the workshops will be held at our observing site. And will be listed on the right of this notice under Workshop dates.
The emphasis on the workshops is for a question and answer session.
These are very much open workshops available for anyone to come along with their telescope issues.
Stargazing from the city
Our workshop we bring you "Stargazing from the city"
Bring your telescopes form 7pm for an introduction to observing from the bowling green of Summerhill.
Help will be at hand for beginners. No telescope - No problem.
We will have a couple of the society telescopes available. In the event of poor weather we will run a workshop indoors. This will be a question and answer session over a cup of tea where you set the agenda. If you are having issues with your telescope please bring it along whether we are indoors or outdoors.
